Legend Homes Named 33rd Largest U.S. Homebuilder in Pro Builder’s 2023 Housing Giants

August 15, 2023

The Houston-based homebuilder jumped nine spots from its 2022 ranking

Legend Homes is pleased to announce that it was named to Pro Builder’s 2023 Housing Giants rankings list as the 33rd largest homebuilder by revenue in the United States. The rankings, which were published in the May/June 2023 issue of Pro Builder, list the top 240 builders in the country by revenue and home closings.

“We’re proud to be named to this list of top U.S. homebuilders,” Legend Homes President Tanya Rizzo said. “Amid rising interest rates and shifting industry trends, we’ve remained committed to constructing homes that are affordable for our customers.”

Each year, industry publication Pro Builder ranks the nation’s biggest builders by evaluating closings and revenue collected. Legend Homes rose nine spots from the 2022 list, which measured builder success in 2021.

In 2022, Legend Homes touted 3,351 closings/units, accounting for more than $837 million in housing revenue across four major markets, including the metropolitan areas for Houston, San Antonio, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Bryan/College Station. Legend Homes’s revenue collected in 2022 marked a 42% increase for the company from the previous year.

"From our onsite builders and dedicated sales professionals to the corporate office staff who help keep operations running smoothly, this recognition is a testament to the tireless efforts of our entire team,” Rizzo said.
