Camillo Companies Names Tanya Rizzo as President of Legend Homes, Matt Hansen as President of SimplyHome

May 22, 2023

Rizzo and Hansen bring more than 20 years and 15 years of experience to their new roles, respectively.

Camillo Companies announced today the promotion of Tanya Rizzo to president of Legend Homes and Matt Hansen to president of SimplyHome. Both Rizzo and Hansen served as chief operating officers of their respective business units before stepping into their new roles, marking key internal promotions that demonstrate the company’s commitment to talent acquisition and development. Rizzo and Hansen began their new positions in late May 2023.

“Tanya has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to our organization's growth,” said Camillo Companies Chief Executive Officer Margaret Potter. “Likewise, Matt has been instrumental in driving technology and process improvements across the SimplyHome business unit and for the broader Camillo Companies as well.”

In her new role, Rizzo will take on the additional responsibility of overseeing and leading the strategic direction and growth of Legend Homes, the retail component of Camillo Companies’ business portfolio. She will also continue to be a vital member of the Camillo Companies executive team, supporting the growth and development of all Camillo Companies' business units.

Rizzo joined Legend Homes in 2017 as the VP of Sales and Marketing and most recently served as the company’s chief operating officer. She brings more than 20 years of industry experience to her new role, including more than 10 years with PulteGroup.

As president of SimplyHome, Hansen will be tasked with overseeing and leading the ongoing growth of the company, which is a leader in the build-to-rent, single-family-home industry. He will also continue to serve on the Camillo Companies executive team.

Hansen joined SimplyHome in 2021 as the chief operating officer after serving as vice president of property operations at FirstKey Homes. He brings more than 15 years of industry experience to his new role.

“Camillo Companies’ purpose is to open doors for the people we serve,” said Potter. “Through their elevated leadership roles, both Tanya and Matt will support this mission, which is driven by our commitment to affordability, customer experience, and innovation.”
