Camillo Companies announced today that Legend Homes and SimplyHome were named to the Houston Chronicle’s 2023 list of Top Workplaces. The awards mark the fifth and third consecutive years that Legend Homes and SimplyHome made the list, respectively.

Every year, the Houston Chronicle partners with Energage to survey employees working for organizations in the metropolitan area. Workers are asked to rate companies on their culture, benefits, leadership style, environment, and other key factors. Organizations with the highest scores are officially added to the Top Workplaces list. 

In 2023, Legend Homes was named to its fifth-straight Top Workplaces list. The accolade marks a year of tremendous growth and development for the homebuilder, which launched several new communities throughout the Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas-Fort Worth regions, introduced all-new branding in spring 2023, and was named the 33rd largest homebuilder by revenue in the country.

Likewise, affiliate brand SimplyHome was named to its third-straight Top Workplaces list. In 2023, SimplyHome rebranded from its original name (Camillo Properties), celebrated its 10,000th home constructed, and launched a new partnership designed to help residents increase their credit scores.

The Houston Chronicle named 199 companies to its 2023 Top Workplaces list. Legend Homes first made the list in 2019 while SimplyHome has been a Top Workplace since 2021.
