Camillo Companies Hosts Annual Toys for Tots Drive to Benefit Children in Need

December 14, 2022

From the end of Thanksgiving to the middle of December, employees gathered toys to donate to children ages 6 months to 17 years old

Camillo Companies concluded its annual Toys for Tots holiday drive on December 16, 2022, with hundreds of toys donated to children in need. Employees gave new, unwrapped toys designed for kids ages 6 months to 17 years old, including everything from action figures and dolls to basketballs and more.

“Each year, we work with the Marine Toys for Tots organization to serve the kids and families in our communities,” Camillo Companies Chief People Officer Vivian Mora said. “No matter what our team decides to give, we do so in the spirit of making the holidays a little brighter for children in need.”

Camillo Companies teammates collected toys across divisions and markets, with donation boxes located in Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Bryan-College Station. Once collected, toys were dropped off at local Marine Toys for Tots Distribution Centers and delivered to families in respective communities to help them celebrate the holiday season.

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is one of the most recognized and impactful holiday philanthropies in the country. Since its founding in 1947, the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity organization has donated more than 627 million toys to more than 281 million children across the United States.
